On June 29, a high-level delegation of overseas Chinese media went to Shibadong Village to experience the charm of the Red landmark in the new era.
This interview delegation consisted of 24 overseas media institutions from Malaysia, Canada, Japan, France, South Africa, Thailand, etc. The interview delegation felt the huge changes of Shabadong Village while visiting Shibadong Miao Embroidery Rural Revitalization Demonstration Base, Jingzhunping Square and so on.
“This time, 24 media institutions from 19 countries came to Shibadong Village and saw China’s efforts to achieve poverty alleviation. We think that China’s experience of poverty alleviation is worth publicizing to the world to help more poor people get rid of poverty and become rich,” said Bai Zuxie, president of China News Agency (Hunan), after visiting Shibadong Village.
It is a regular serial activity of overseas Chinese media’s visit to China’s mainland to conduct field reports. The activity was co-hosted by the Publicity Department of Hunan Provincial Party Committee, Hunan Rural Revitalization Bureau and China News Agency. The interview delegation witnessed firsthand the achievements of Hunan’s poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, and wrote high-quality news to show the new look of Hunan’s rural revitalization to the world.
